Note To Ciara: Pick A Style Already!
Ciara is a beautiful, talented dancer (oh, she sings too). Her performances are always fun to watch, as she manages to put on quite a show with her back breaking maneuvers and fierce attitude. We love her as an artist, but she does have a bit of dilemma in the style department. While her talent is unique, her style is more of a mix of everyone else’s. We’ve noticed that Ciara is very much influenced by whats going around her. Whatever the trend of the moment is, we’re bound to see Ciara jump on it; for example, all the celebrities started chopping off their hair (Rihanna in particular) and then Ciara copied the look, then pasted it right on to her own head (literally, via wig). If she is hanging out with a friend who has a definite signature look, almost automatically she adopts the look as her own. She recently became bffs with Kim Kardashian and we saw here repeating some of Kim’s outfits and recreating her glamorous style. If the general consensus is that Beyonce is the hottest chick in the game, then coincidentally we see Ciara copying some of her moves.
It seems that Ciara is in desperate need of a signature style. She needs a look that she can own. All of the hottest female performers have their own looks which are instantly recognizable and definable: Rihanna; rocker chic. Beyonce; glam goddess. Mary J. Blige, ghetto F-A-B. Alicia Keys; classic. Kelis; funky. Keri Hilson; tomboy chic

Ciara has the wrong people as her stylist. Come in this picture above, she seems closely similar to Aaliyah. Maybe she takes other styles and tries to make it a bit sexy. But to me it just looks a mess, there are too many designers in the industry, to have mimic other artist.

And everybody knows that ciara is a lil more thugged out then beyonce and was dancing before…I think cirara has her own style… and if anything i’ve seen some people bite her… but after seeing those pictures damn it did look like she bit a lil bit…. Black women need to stop wearing weaves and wigs anyway and grow it out natural i don’t want to touch or smell someone elses hair from another country while im sexin or huggin you its nasty… and fake… and unoriginal big up to all my sistas with natural styles!!!!

there is always somebody who has done it first. Cutting and pasting pictures of one lovely artist to several others, then calling them a copy cat?? Do the same with Beyonce, Kerri Hilson and Rhianna and you’ll see that Ciara is no copy cat cuz Janet,, and a long line of divas before them have done it all.l…Beyonce’s trademark is Tina Turner. and ect
Ladies just enjoy our beautiful black artists as musicians, dancers and not their clothes. Lets just be glad when they got SOMETHING ON…Cuz i swear the next new trend is sunglasses and stickers for everyone! lol

Well, while this article is kinda an interesting observation as far as picture comparisons go, i believe that if you take any one female artist like Rhianna Beyonce or Kerri Hilson, show them in different situations and you will see that all of these artists explore different looks. They are young and experimental. It’s their stage presence, swag and pa**ionate attitude for music and dance that make them special. Not their “look” So if Ciara is a “Copy Cat” Then so is the rest of the gang cuz janet did it aaaaaaaaaaall first And ain’t nothin’ wrong with that. There is always somebody who did it first. Ciara is not anorexic. Copy-catting is fine. But when you can’t work a style theres a problem. And Ciara can’t work any style except Crunk and theres nothing wrong with that! She should have been at the vmas so we can see what style she is rockin now.

smh…all fashion is inspired by someone or something else. so technically they all copy, so why is it a big deal? they make it their own and ppl freak out and say they’re unoriginal.

I will only say what I know…Fefe Dobson been on the scene for a minute and it seems that Riihanna has taken everything this chick has done. Ciara is somewhat of a mix but if Beyonce don’t change up her dancing, she gonna fall off. All the videos look the same if you cut off the music, you wouldnt even know what song it was. Ciara is hot, especially when it comes to dancing.

Yeah she took it a lil far at times but to BP yall are late!!!! This should’ve been talked about when she first came out. I think that we can all agree that she robbed Aaliyah’s closet wit the past fashion and style! You know the tight shirts with the baggy jeans? Then she stole Janets power, movement, hair, and voice! You know how they both sound all quiet when they sing!!!? But theres one talent that she does own, She can kill everyone when it comes to dancing!
