Supplementing my FitGirl life is what I do beauties, both with all natural supplements and with all natural positive energy–which is why I adore both vitafusion™ and trainer and fitness expert, Keoni Hudoba. They’ve recently teamed up, so if you’re having a hard time swallowing your multivitamins and are looking for a multidimensional workout, then you are in the right place beauty.
Why Swallow When You Can Chew?
If you haven’t switched over to the #1 adult gummy vitamin brand then just unfriend me now. No really, vitafusion™ is not only perfect for all you beauties who gag on the thought of swallowing pills, but these chewable nutrients are super yummy too. Staying true to to their motto, “We Make Nutrition Taste Good™” vitafusion™ is truly a leader in the field of taste and nutritional technology. They cover the full spectrum of dietary supplements for adults and children with both the vitafusion™ and L’il Critters™ family of gummy vitamin brands. I love the MultiVites Plus Hair, Skin & Nails Support and the Calcium the most, and have a new-found healthy glow to prove it. Missing my daily dosage is a no-brainer now since supplement time feels like snack time.
So now that you know that supplementing your healthy can be yummy, allow me to introduce you to my new RAD fit friend Keoni Hudoba. As the Creator of the Cyc Method and a renowned trainer and fitness expert, Hudoba hails from Hawaii where he trained his very first client—himself! He underwent a RADical transformation of mind, body and spirit and came out the other side over 100 pounds thinner and much wiser. We recently had the chance to both sweat and chat together, so I wanted to let you in on his RAD life too beauties:
Robbie Ann Darby: So Keoni, as fitness professionals, it is often our personal stories and journeys that bring us to this career. What is your story?
Keoni Hudoba: I was overweight in college and in my early 20s. At my lowest point, I weighed in over 300 pounds. I moved to NYC to pursue my singing career. At one audition the director asked me to stay for the movement call. Within moments, I thought I was going to have a heart attack. The director pulled me aside and said that he loved my voice, but if I wanted to take this career seriously I was going to have to lose weight. Hearing that hit home.
I signed up for a gym membership and a personal trainer. This trainer sparked a new passion for me. I dedicated the next three years of my life to getting healthy. It’s a routine now. I wake up every morning at 6am to workout, and I can’t go a day without doing something physical. When I train clients at their lowest point and they say, “You don’t know what it’s like to be heavy,” I say, “I know exactly how it is.”
RAD: What advice would you give someone just starting their fitness/healthy lifestyle journey?
KH: I tell clients that they have to be ready to make a change and be fully invested in reaching their goals. Together we look for ways to make healthy routines enjoyable, starting with small changes. It’s important to find things that work for you…because those are the things that you’re going to stick to.
RAD: Speaking of healthy routines, vitafusion™ is such a great vitamin line. How has their products affected your overall health and fitness goals?
KH: Good nutrition is a critical part of good health. I started taking vitafusion™ Men’s Gummy Multivitamin three years ago to ensure I was getting the nutrients I needed to support an active lifestyle. vitafusion™ gummies come in a variety of essential vitamins and minerals and use only natural fruit flavors. They’re delicious, so I remember to take them every day. Also, vitafusion™ is rooted in the belief that healthy habits should be enjoyable so that you keep doing them. This belief in fusing health and enjoyment inspires the workouts I create, – from Cyc to DRENCHED to this new vitafusion8 routine. That’s why this is such a natural partnership.
RAD: Oh yeah, I can attest to that my friend. I love both Cyc and the vitafusion8 workout, however the best part of the vitafusion8 workout is that it can be done anywhere. What was your inspiration behind this workout?
KH: With work, traveling and vacations, finding time to hit the gym can be tricky. I worked with vitafusion to create the vitafusion8 routine which works the entire body around one pivot point. vitafusion8 combines eight power moves, using just your healthy body, for an enjoyable and challenging workout utilizing limited space. From your office to your hotel room, this is the perfect alternative for the everyday athlete in all of us.
RAD: What keeps you going Keoni? Let us in on your secret.
KH: Enjoying every part of a workout – from the opening jog to the finale, I’m having the time of my life. This comes from the music and the crowd – they’re my source of energy. I find what works for me, and I encourage my clients to find those enjoyable daily habits that shape them into their best selves.
Thanks for the 411 Keoni. So without further adieu beauties, here is your new favorite workout – vitafusion8
