‘Big Pimpin’ won’t disappear from our favorite throwback 90s playlist anytime soon.

Jay-Z and Timbaland won the lawsuit that claimed they did not have the legal rights to sample an Egyptian artist’s song.

According to the New York Times, the duo paid $100,000 in 1999 to use the music from ‘Khosara Khosara’ performed by Baligh Hamdi for Jay-Z’s hit ‘Big Pimpin.’

The judge ruled that payment received for the snippet would be upheld in the court of law, and Jay-Z and Timbo have the rights to distribute the song wherever they like.

Jay-Z won’t be spending anymore cheese in this case. (Ok, we know that one was corny, LOL).
