#ThrowbackThursday: Beyonce Drops Mini-Doc Dedicated To Black Men
You thought Beyoncé couldn’t get any more WOKE than “negro nose with Jackson 5 nostrils?” Well, you’re wrong.
After her Blackest week ever, we felt it was important to remind people that Beyoncé isn’t new to this. It really doesn’t get much Blacker than singing Mahalia Jackson’s staple, surrounded by brothers with their hands up.
In 2015, following her inspirational performance of “Precious Lord, Take My Hand,” the singer posted an 8-minute mini-documentary, celebrating Black men and raising awareness about what it means to be a Black man in the United States.
The stunning black and white video has Beyoncé soulfully belting out the vocals like it’s First Sunday at King Bey Tabernacle.
If you’ve been backsliding, Beyoncé will being you straight back to the altar with this one, Beauties!

Is there anything cooler than a “Thank You” from the queen herself? Nope…don’t think so.
