Blue-eyed soul is officially making a comeback! First Justin Timberlake claimed the top spot on the R&B charts with “Suit & Tie” and now Robin Thicke is back out with new music and sexy visuals.
The Real Husbands of Hollywood star premiered footage from his new video,”Blurred Lines,” on the hit BET show last night, and he dropped the full-length video today.
The record shows a sophisticated and fun side of the soul singer and guest stars Pharrell Williams and T.I., both of whom show off their dancing feet in the 4-minute video.
The track, lifted from Thicke’s upcoming sixth studio album, is scheduled to hit iTunes on March 26.
Although the follow-up to his 2011 album Love After War has yet received a release date, Thicke says the new project well worth the wait.
“I have about 40 songs for the album,” he said. “As Pharrell understands, when you are trying to make your own journey as an artist, you can make the fun stuff but you gotta make sure that it expresses your life and where you’re at. That is more important to me than topping the charts.”
We can’t wait to hear Robin’s new music, but until then check out his new video below and tell us what you think!
