My girlfriend and I were talking recently about a new man she had in her life. I was asking the usual questions including “where did you meet this guy?” and things got a little weird. First she skirted around the question. I thought she didn’t hear me, so I asked the question again.
At this point I began to notice uncertainty on her face. Finally, after deliberating for a few second she told me that she had met her new man at a salon. That seemed pretty normal to me, seeing as guys need their hair cut, too. It was then she told me that I wasn’t understanding, she was at the salon, he was working there.
I have to say that was a first for me. I have met most of my former flames at work or school. I tried to remember my most unusual place I had met a man, but all I could think of was the subway.
