As someone who got beatings on the regular while growing up in the Caribbean (which was the norm), I swore that when I had children I would never beat them. Until you have them, you cannot know how you will discipline. There is a difference between punishment and abuse. Abuse is not acceptable, and what this father did is clearly abuse.
Now I don’t know what other acts these kids did prior to posting the “twerking” video, but clearly this father had some pent up frustrations that caused him to act out like this.
