The 2013 BET Awards was one of the most entertaining awards nights in a while. Hosted by comedian, Chris Tucker, the star-studded night was filled with laughs, amazing performances, surprise guests and all around good vibes.

As we watched, we couldn’t help but notice Dwayne Wade and Gabrielle Union serving us prom king and queen realness. So for nostalgia’s sake, we took it back to high school and decided to award some of our favorite celebs with their very own superlatives, with a twist. Cutest Couple: Dwayne Wade & Gabrielle Union
Dwayne Wade took home the Humanitarian Award and his smiling beauty, Gabrielle Union was right by his side. We all “awwwed” when he thanked Gabrielle and called her his Queen! We love them.
Most Improved: Miguel
Let’s face it, Miguel didn’t kill anyone this time. If that’s not improvement worth celebrating, we don’t know what is!
Best All Around: Jamie Foxx
From his Travyon Martin T-shirt to his smoother R&B stylings honoring legend, Charlie Wilson, Jamie Foxx wins for the evening…hands DOWN!
Best Smile: Ciara
Ciara may not win a lot of things, but when it comes to looks, she’s in first place. Did you see her pearly whites? Hey…she didn’t win Miss Congeniality!
Most School Spirit: Terrence J
Literally started from the bottom, now he’s here! Winning awards on the very network that gave him his first chance in entertainment. We are so proud of Terrence J!
Best Dressed: RaVaughn Brown
She may be a newbie in the industry, but Ne-Yo’s latest protege, RaVaughn Brown stunted on the carpet last night in her Diego Dolcini golden leopard dress!
Most Talented: Charlie Wilson
There’s no questioning the impact Charlie Wilson has had on the industry. His music is forever relevant and it doesn’t matter who joins him on stage, he’s a standout performer.
Most Athletic: Chris Brown
Chris Brown may still not be in our good graces, but there’s no denying the sheer athleticism in his performances.
Best Acceptance Speech: Kendrick Lamar
Kendrick Lamar’s journey is inspiring and he decided to share a piece of that with the audience while accepting his big win as Best Hip-Hop male artist. “To my little homeboys and my homegirls back in the city, you looking at me on TV right now, I came up in that same county building, food stamps, welfare section eight. This is living proof that you can do anything you put your mind to.”
Biggest Tease: R. Kelly
R. Kelly stopped at every hoodrat boutique on the way to the BET Awards and hit the stage, teasing us all with snippets of our favorite Kellz hits. Our only complaint is that he left us hanging. Why, r. why!?
Best Make Under: Nicki Minaj
Oh Nicki. We are so happy with your new choice of glam squad. Your hair is always laid, while being unique and your sleek fashions allow us to see your beauty. Job well done for maturing in style.
