It’s been a month since the social-media scene was shaken up with the release of Instagram Stories.

According to the Instagram Blog, “Instagram Stories is a new feature that lets you share all the moments of your day, not just the ones you want to keep on your profile. As you share multiple photos and videos, they appear together in a slideshow format: your story.

With Instagram Stories, you don’t have to worry about overposting. Instead, you can share as much as you want throughout the day — with as much creativity as you want. You can bring your story to life in new ways with text and drawing tools. The photos and videos will disappear after 24 hours and won’t appear on your profile grid or in (your) feed.”

Sound familiar or nah?

Enter Snapchat: In 2011, the app was released. With Snapchat, you can take a picture or short video. When you post your “snaps,” you have the option of allowing all of your followers to see it or just specific users. Features such as filters and instant messaging have since been added to the app, and whatever you post disappears after 24 hours.

So I asked a few fashionistas to weigh in on which feature they prefer: Team Snapchat or Team Instagram Stories?

Here’s what they had to say:
