Are Jay Z and Beyonce really headed for a breakup?

We’ve heard this one before, but according to In Touch Weekly, this time the answer is YES! The cover of their current issue reads “Beyonce to Jay Z: It’s Over,” and they’re not the only ones talking about trouble in “The Throne.” Page Six reported, “Jay Z and Beyonce have more than 99 problems and only ‘divine intervention’ can save the troubled marriage.”

You may be asking yourself how could the Carter’s be on the brink of divorce when they perform together almost every night? If you let Page Six continue to tell it, “they are trying to figure out a way to split without divorcing…this is a huge concert tour and they’ve already gotten most of the money from the promoters up front.”

We are well aware that every relationship has ups and downs and we can’t confirm ourselves that Jay and Bey are divorcing, but there have been some strong indicators that there might be dissention. The illusion of “paradise” that Beyonce and her team has created appears to be cracking. However, we all know nothing is perfect.

Speculation about their union can be traced back to Jay’s song “Lost Ones” in 2006, where he raps, “I don’t think it’s meant to be, B / But she loves her work more than she does me / And honestly, at 23 / I would probably love my work more than I did she.” Jay and Bey wed in a private ceremony in 2008 and got matching tattoos on their ring fingers instead of exchanging traditional rings. Until recently, the “IV” could be seen peeking behind Bey’s rock (that she doesn’t don on a daily basis). It now appears that ink has either faded or is being removed–a sign that alarmed fans.

Then there was the infamous elevator brawl between Jay Z and Solange. With little details and no sound on the surveillance footage, skeptics questioned why Solange would so violently attack her brother-in-law. The public concluded that it had to be over Beyonce. Rumors about Jay’s inappropriate acts with another women began to swirl. it appeared that Solange had just come to her sister’s defense.

The Carters released this statement:

“As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it. Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.

The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false. At the end of the day families have problems and we’re no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We’ve put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same.”

The incident was swept under the rug which could have been a ploy by Beyonce’s team to refocus the public’s attention to the then-upcoming “On The Run Tour.” It worked, but Jay Z’s alleged infidelities was still a topic of interest. And, who could forget the rumors that Jay had fathered a child outside of their relationship. I digress.

Jay and Bey kicked off the “On The Run” tour June 25 in Miami. Jay and Bey were criticized for their lack of chemistry on stage despite their public display of affection: holding hands and kissing. They even revealed never-before-seen footage from their wedding. However, the next few shows would once again alarm fans. Beyonce, performing in her wedding dress, altered the lyrics to her ballad “Resentment” (a song that stirred rumors about Jay’s infidelities). The line, “I’ll always remember feeling like I was no good / Like I couldn’t do it for you like your mistress could” was changed to, “I’ll always remember feeling like I was no good / Like I couldn’t do it for you like that wack b*tch could.”

Fans noted an inflection when she sang the line, “Been ridin’ with you for 12 years…” and then continued “I gotta look at her in her eyes and see she’s had half of me. She ain’t even half of me. That b*tch will never be.”

Days after, Beyonce’s fan site posted this clip of the Carters on stage and it appears that Beyonce wasn’t feeling Jay’s act of PDA.

It was also revealed that the Carter’s were seeking the assistance of a marriage counselor via Skype.

A blind item (from Blind Gossip) detailing the major divorce of two massive celebrities also hit the Internet, fueling divorce rumors:

“We have told you MANY times before that this high-profile marriage is just a business arrangement. We have also told you that this business arrangement will wind down after their current project is finished. Well, it’s almost over!

They are splitting up everything (properties, money, child/ren) right now, but will be keeping up appearances until the announcement. They are separating this year, with the divorce to follow in about six months. It will be very clean and very fast. In fact, the parties involved are describing the timeline as “Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes fast.”

With the universe buzzing with uncertainty, Beyonce has maintained her cool on social media. Yesterday, she posted this photo of she and Jay Z playing with Blue Ivy:

Jay Z and Beyonce have yet to comment on the many divorce rumors, and if we know the Carters on a basic level…they won’t. To be frank, if there is a divorce, we won’t know about it until it’s documented. As of now, the Carters are still smiling and until they say otherwise, we’re just going to go on with our day.

What do you make of all these recent reports?
