There’s nothing but good news surrounding Broadway’s “After Midnight.” Along with receiving seven Tony Award nominations this week (including one for best musical), the production has a superstar lineup of vocalists for fans to look forward to this summer.

According to reports, Patti LaBelle, Gladys Knight and Natalie Cole are scheduled to guest star in the jazzy musical, which celebrates Duke Ellington’s years at the Cotton Club during the height of the Jazz Age. Ms. Labelle will hit the stage from June 10-29, Ms. Knight’s stint will take place July 8-August 3 and Ms. Cole will make her Broadway debut August 5-31.

If you’re familiar with the 90-minute dance-centric play, then you know the powerhouse singers will put their on twist on songs like “I Can’t Give You Anything But Love,” ”Stormy Weather,” ”On the Sunny Side of the Street” and “Zaz Zuh Zaz.”

“After Midnight” is definitnely no stranger to famous faces. Past stars of the show include Fantasia Barrino, Toni Braxton, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, and Vanessa Williams.
