Cardi B Announces The Birth Of Her Baby Girl In Instagram Post

Congratulations are in order for Cardi B. and Offset, who just announced the birth of her baby girl, born on September 7.

The rapper, who filed for divorce and announced her pregnancy in August, posted a series of photos to her Instagram account of herself cradling her new addition to the family. In another picture, both Kulture and Offset cradle the newborn as the Bronx native looks on lovingly from the hospital bed.

The rapper donned a natural glam look, with a middle part buss-down wig and noticeably shorter nails. And while her after-birth photos seem glamorous, Cardi also showed the reality of labor with a shot of herself actively delivering the baby.

The comment section was met with well wishes from her peers, including Megan Thee Stallion, Yung Miami, and Teyana Taylor.

A brief timeline of Cardi B. and Offset’s courtship

The “Tomorrow 2” rapper has kept a low profile since filing for a divorce from Offset. The couple began dating in early 2017 and secretly got married that September. Almost three years later, in September 2020, Cardi filed for divorce but later reconciled a few weeks later. In April 2018, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper revealed her baby bump during an onstage performance on SNL. In July of that year she gave birth to a baby girl, Kulture Kiari Cephus. During the 2021 BET Awards in June, the rapper announced she was pregnant with her second child, and in September 2021, she gave birth to a baby boy, Wave Set Cephus.

The couple’s make-ups are as loud as their breakups, so there is no telling if reconciliation is around the corner. Either way, there’s a new Cephus in town who has undoubtedly blessed the hearts of her family. Congratulations, Cardi!
