George Zimmerman Found Not Guilty, Martin Family Reacts!
A verdict has been reached!
George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch captain turned vigilante, has been found NOT GUILTY in the murder of the unarmed Florida teen Trayvon Martin! After 16 hours of deliberating, jurors returned the controversial verdict to a tense courtroom.
Before deciding the fate of Zimmerman, the jury–comprised of six women– asked for clarification of the instructions involving manslaughter. Zimmerman
Trayvon Martin and Sybrina Fulton were, according to reports, not in the courtroom. Zimmerman was acquitted of all charges and released from the hold of the judicial system. Demonstrators outside the courthouse chanted “No Justice, No Peace!”
