She put in 23 years of radio broadcasting in the NYC. She eve has a day named after her given in honor of her radio show, presented by the mayor of NYC. She recently (2 weeks ago),was inducted into the National Radio Broadcasting Hall of Fame. In the hall of fame she joins the likes of Tom Joyner aka “The Fly Jock”, Wolfman Jack, The Lone Ranger and many other big names in radio broadcast history. Wendy Williams, is the first Black Woman to receive this honor. She’s had two miscarriages and one birth that was a success and a blessing to her and her husband. The boy is now 9 years old. She’s been happily married for more than 10+ years. Wendy Williams, is about 6 feet 4 inches tall. wow, let me say first that I am surprised that a woman of Garcelle’s caliber would appear on that program. Wendy Williams is a “trash box”,and I feel sorry for the people who are FORCED (that’s the only feasible explanation) to listen to this loud, ignorant, dope fiend! I don’t and WON’T watch her show. Please understand, before I had the misfortune of actually listening to her show, I was a HUGE fan! I just assumed that, since she is a black woman, she was doing it better than anyone…Alas, I misjudged. She is so typical of everything that marginalizes black women in America. Loud, crude, always going off half-c**ked, all drama all the time, ignorant, unaware, lush, unenlightened – come on! Aren’t we as women of color in America working so very hard to divest ourselves of negative stereotypes? Shouldn’t we try to present a more genteel demeanor? I can proudly say that I was one that called for her program to be PULLED immediately when it began airing in Tampa Bay, ESPECIALLY after her reaction to the plight of the Jena 6! That was the deal breaker for me. She was already on the short list of black women we need to let the white people have, because she IS such a Becky! Nothing she ever spoke about during the time that I was FORCED to listen to her was ever informative, uplifting or enlightening. TRUST, if I had the same platform (broadcasting) the format would be BOTH entertaining and informative(she needs to take a page from the Black Radio Personality “bible”), and STEP HER GAME UP! Plus, the only thing she is doing on television is causing more people to wonder WHAT the HELL she IS? If she’s a girl, she’s a very large, unpretty one. A man; she iight, but a little too wide in the hips…And I’m guessing her nostrils look like that because of all the powder that goes up there?
