What do they mean by no man in a relationship has any business out alone…he’s not a damn child…his a$$ can come and go as he pleases and by his damn self. I believe men who are monogamous make an intellectual decision that they WILL NOT stray away from their primary relationships. I wholeheartedly believe that monogamy does not result from PHYSICAL RESTRAINT OR ABSTINENCE, but rather from an INTELLECTUAL and SPIRITUAL COMMITMENT to one’s partner. Again, just my opinion, but I believe that it is in the male gender’s DNA to have multiple partners to ensure successful procreation. Statistics show that oftentimes the mistress is less intelligent and/or less beautiful than the wife or girlfriend, but she is another notch on the proverbial male belt.

My number one characteristic in a mate is not six-pack abs, or dreamy eyes, but rather, superlative intelligence. A man who can think is one who is using the BIG HEAD, rather than the SMALL HEAD, and he is able to rationalize the consequences of his actions. If you have a meaningful relationship that is based on love and respect, he will think twice before breaking the bond of trust that he has established with you.

SIDEBAR: I don’t believe in tit-for-tat. My body is a temple, and I would NEVER use it for revenge. i don’t really think there’s a way to keep anyone from cheating. They are grown people who will make conscientious decisions about what they do while in a relationship. Those are “players,” and I don’t think that the host of this forum is referring to them. The host is most likely referring to honest-hearted men who are seeking something that they can’t find in their current relationships, and perhaps their actions are more of a cry for help rather than from a cheating heart. Men are sexual creatures and want their women to be very kinky in the bedroom, and they’ll look for it someplace else if they’re not getting it at home.

I believe that the reason why some women say that men will cheat regardless of what they do is because it’ll take the heat off of them. You ladies have failed to get the point of what I’m saying. Those cases that you’re referring to are more of the exception than the rule. Those cases when the men or the husbands will cheat on their women or wives regardless of what their girlfriends or wives do for them aren’t quite as common as you think. Please keep in mind that I don’t condone cheating; I’m just trying to tell you all that there’s something missing in the relationship. I thought I made that clear in my previous post.

as i guy who done some cheating in my day i would say there isnt a silver bullet when it comes to keepin ur man at home. 1 thing ommited from the list is the reason males cheat. i dont think it has anything to do with people, it has more to do with the make up of society as a whole. because there are 8 women to every man, an atractive, uneducated women may play musical chairs with the man they want. also balance is important to relationships. if ur a dea agent dating a crack head, there might be some problems ahead. i am in no way traditionally religious, but the bible warns about couples being unequally yoked. both parties must be, at some level, be connected by a plethera of ideals to stay compatible.
i watch the cheaters show everyday and i see couples who didnt get along in the first place. ive been in relationships where, the woman thinks everything is cool, and im thinking “what about those other 7 women i should be entitled to as an alpha male” (well maybe a beta male). once this thought is conjured, theres only a matter of time before the end of that union. the idea of being with one woman for life, that is not on my level, is what keeps my options open.
some relationships get “2 big 2 fail”, and at that time, its regulation of the relationship that will be needed to keep the “relationship bank” from buying out other banks that u think about doing business with.

Woman seems to take cheating personal whenever it happens, most times it has nothing to do with you and for that some cant even move on and you will hear comments such as “everyman will cheat”. Realise that no man is your enemy, no man is your friend, every man is your teacher (The Game of Life and the Secret Door to success), ackowledge that your not perfect and you may have failed your man in the process of the relationship and for that you need to work on how you can make things better, either with your current man or going forth. There is no magic pill to keep any man, or woman for that matter, from cheating. You need to know your partner and make sure they are worth your time and energy. The truth is some people aren’t relationship material and never will be. Like another person said you need to get with someone with the ability to think critically, so they can weigh the consequences of their actions. I promise you, it’s like they have dating a black man down to some kind of science or something. As a young, educated black man who stay’s in Atlanta, their are so many more women than men. But it boils down to this, when a man is READY to commit to something long term that maybe on the lines of marriage, he will seek his life partner. And that’s where some of the issue is, some men are ready earlier then others. I don’t want to go too far off of the subject, but some women out here make me angry when they want their men to spend their money on everything when they don’t have to go into their purses for anything. What you do in the beginning of the relationship you must continue to do throughout. You have people out here giving back rubs during the “honeymoon phase” of the relationship, but as soon as his or her partner really needs it a year later everything else becomes more important. I guess what I’m trying to say is a two point message. First point to the women. Think more logically when it comes to your behavior and attitude with the men you deal with. Esoteric_Dredz, your comments aren’t exactly conducive to a long and happy relationship. In a relationship, we do things that we wouldn’t normally do on our own, and we do those things to please our mates. Threatening to leave your mate or spouse if he or she cheats on you shows an unwillingness to be flexible unless your mate or spouse cheats on you more than once or if the cheating is done with malice and without remorse. You must not have read my previous posts. Statistically, most men who cheat cheat because they’re missing something in their relationships, not just because they can or can’t remain faithful. Hello everyone! I tried to post earlier, but either BP or my network wasn’t working correctly. Jazzwatch, I agree with you. It’s extremely difficult to find that ideal mate in today’s society. When asked what was the most important thing to them in a relationship, the women said either “money” or a “nice car.” I’ve heard about wives leaving their husbands because their husbands were laid off of work and now the wives were financially responsible for everything. That’s not the proper attitude to have because we should imagine how difficult it was at times when the husbands were the only ones who worked. Now the wives want to run out on their husbands when things don’t go their way. Furthermore, many young women today are leeches.

There is nothing you can do to stop your partner from cheating on you if that’s where their head is. You could do everything to please them… They will still hunger for O.P.P.

No one should try to change you completely; however, you may need to make adjustments in your attitude or thinking if you’re going to have or sustain a relationship. This is by far the most ridiculous article I’ve read in a long time. This type of thinking is one of the main reasons why people adopt that nonsense ideology that if they’re cheated on then it must have been something they’ve done. BS by far! A person cheats because he/she wants to; there is no perfect behavior that one can possess to keep this from happening. All you can do is be the best that you can be in a relationship and if that isn’t good enough to keep the person from looking outside of the relationship then throw up the deuces!
