Steve J has back child support totaling over $1 million, and the state of New York has had enough.

According to TMZ, the Empire State issued the “Love and Hip Hip Atlanta” star a warning, threatening to confiscate his property and sell it to pay off the $1.2 million debt if he doesn’t change his deadbeat ways. “Interestingly, the state sent Stevie 4 separate notifications between 2011 and 2013 … all of which he apparently ignored.” the site reports.

As we reported earlier, the producer-turned-reality star was arrested last Monday at his home in Georgia for failing to pay the support. He spent a few hours in jail before his ride-or-die wife Joseline Hernandez posted his $25,000 bond.

“It feels great. I’m home with my wife,” Jordan told The Associated Press shortly after his release. “I’m just ready to get this behind me.”
