Most people are busy dealing with holiday planning and wrapping up the year to go on vacation. But just because you can’t get away doesn’t mean you can’t feel like you’re getting away! Say what?!

Cruzan Rum teamed up with top mixologists from all over the country to create signature cocktails inspired by their respective cities. From Houston to New Orleans, use these recipes to plan your spirited escape!

2. Cruzan® Blackberry Smash

1 1/2 parts Cruzan® Aged Dark Rum
1/2 part JDK&Sons™ Fleur Elderflower Liqueur
1/4 part Simple Syrup
5 Fresh Blackberries
4 Fresh Sage Leaves
1 Fresh Lemon Slice
1 Fresh Lime Slice
Soda Water

Combine Blackberries, Sage Leaves, Lemon and Lime in a cocktail shaker and muddle. Add ice and shake. Double strain into a highball glass over ice. Top with Soda Water and Fresh blackberries for garnish.

3. Cruzan® Moment Alone

1 part Cruzan® Aged Light Rum
1 part Cruzan® Aged Dark Rum
3/4 part Fresh Lemon Juice
1/2 part Fresh Grapefruit Juice
3/4 part Homemade Basil Syrup (recipe in link below)

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker over ice and shake. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with Fresh Cracked Pepper.

4. Cruzan® Natchez

1 1/2 parts Cruzan® Estate Diamond® Light
1/2 part Knob Creek® Bourbon
1/4 part Velvet Falernum®
1 dash Peychaud’s® Bitters
Herbsaint® Legendre Rinse

Combine all ingredients, excluding Herbsaint Legendre Rinse, in a cocktail glass. Add ice and stir 35-40 times. Rinse a chilled cocktail glass with Herbsaint Legendre and strain cocktail over the glass.

5. Cruzan® La Porte

2 parts Cruzan® Estate Diamond® Light Rum
3/4 part fresh squeezed Lemon Juice
3/4 part Cardamom-Bay Leaf-Serrano syrup (recipe in link below)

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker over ice and shake. Strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice.

6. Cruzan Shoreline

2 parts Cruzan® Aged Light Rum
3 parts Infused Coconut Water*
1 part Fresh Lemon Juice
2 dashes Angostura Bitters

Method:
Add all ingredients in the order above in a Collins glass over ice. Garnish with a Mint Sprig and a Strawberry.

Infused Coconut Water
1 quart Coconut Water
1 Cucumber, sliced
8 Strawberries, sliced
15 Mint Leaves

Method:
Combine all ingredients in a pitcher and chill.

7. Cruzan® Carolina Trolley

1 1/2 parts Cruzan® Aged Light Rum
1/2 part DeKuyper® Blue Curaçao
2 parts Fresh Sour Mix
1 part Fresh Pineapple Juice
1 part Ginger Beer

Build all ingredients except Ginger Beer with ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake well and strain into an ice filled Collins glass. Top with Ginger Beer and garnish with Orange & Pineapple.

8. Cruzan® Charm City Crusta

1 1/4 parts Cruzan® Aged Dark Rum
3/4 part Knob Creek® Rye Bourbon
3/4 part Chamomile Grappa Liqueur
1 part Fresh Lemon Juice
3 Dashes Angostura Bitters

Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a highball glass filled with ice and thickly rimmed with cinnamon sugar. Garnish with a Lime peel horse-neck.
