Halle Berry “Not Going To Play Oprah” In Biopic
Halle Berry put an end to rumors that she’d be playing Oprah Winfrey in a new biopic. While on Ellen Degeneres’ talk show, the 44-year-old actress was asked if she’d be fulfilling the role of the famous talk show host.
Halle answered,
“I’m not going to play Oprah. No, I was like [pretends to be on phone], ‘Hey, Oprah, Am I playing you? Just tell me because nobody has told me this.’ I don’t know where these rumors come from.”
Well, thank goodness. As much as we love Halle, we don’t see her in this role.
Halle also received a gift from Ellen: a life-vest for her daughter Nahla that says “If Found Return to Oscar Winner Halle Berry.” Ha!
The show will air on Monday (November 15).
