The repeatedly delayed current season of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta is finally airing, but many fans are still shook about the behind-the-scenes drama that caused long-time cast member Kenya Moore to be ousted from the show.

Following the latest episode, which aired on Sunday, March 30, Moore took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to address her apparent feud with RHOA newcomer, Brittany Eady.

“Being the longest standing RHOA member threatened with whips and pistols by a newcomer 3 weeks into filming. Seeing this obsession play out is scary. I wanted protection and assurances that the threats would be taken seriously. I may be strong but I’m not bulletproof,” Moore wrote.

Members of #TeamTwirl, Moore’s legion of online fans, flooded her post with comments of support after viewing the gun threats made by Eady.

During season 16, episode 4, viewers finally got to see the beginnings of what transpired between Moore and Eady, an intense verbal altercation between the ladies that escalated amid claims that Eady told Moore she had a pistol.

When the current season was filming last year, there were rumors that Eady threatened Moore, but nothing was confirmed until now.

Back in June 2024, it was announced that Moore would not be a full time cast member on the show any longer, after she distributed revenge porn of Eady at the opening of Moore’s Atlanta hair spa, People reported.

Taking to social media after her exit was revealed, Moore wrote at the time, “You are the best fans anyone could ever ask for. And I love you all so very much. Always and forever.”

Next week the revenge porn episode airs, which means it will likely be the last time that we see Moore this season on RHOA.
