Actress Gabrielle Union has been the talk of the Twitterverse after her recent sit-down on Sway’s Universe where she talked about her new book, ‘We’re Going To Need More Wine,” and why people shouldn’t be afraid to eat a**.
“Listen, it’s all about equality and a lot of times especially women feel like I’m going to lose him if I don’t do XYZ and there’s never any thought to the woman enjoying, or having any expectation of enjoying sex,” Union said.
“I’m just a vessel for somebody else’s sexual gratification, and we have to take that back. We have to demand equality everywhere.”
“And then ask him to eat your a**,” she concluded. “If you’re going to be offering blow jobs willy nilly there should be some pleasure you experience in return. It’s only fair.”
Well apparently this ruffled the feathers of a gang of (prudish and/or judgmental) folks who thought it was necessary to roast the actress for having the audacity to be open and honest about sex. But be clear: Gabby is nobody’s punk and she had a few words for her sex shamers!
The BeingMary Jane actress took to Twitter on Saturday to double down on her comments about being empowered in the bedroom and the need for reciprocity when having sex:
Judgement about sexual gratification is what keeps people sexually repressed & having uneven sexual experiences.
