MTV’s Catfish recently premiered an episode that was a strong departure from it’s typical bait and switch, and at this point, I don’t know how they continue to have people falling for the internet’s best phonies, but they do.

The latest episode, Lauren met Derek eight years ago on Myspace. Their friendship blossomed, and even when Lauren found herself pregnant by someone else and even was on her way to marrying another. Derek remained her number one man, no matter what turns her life took and no matter how many times he avoided getting on camera to prove himself to her.
