Oprah Winfrey‘s OWN network will air the ‘Dark Girls’ documentary. The film which has been making the rounds on the film festival circuit since its TIFF debut in the fall of 2011 is finally coming to the small screen.
Dark Girls is a fascinating and controversial documentary film that goes underneath the surface to explore the prejudices that dark-skinned women face throughout the world. Co-directed by actor and filmmaker Bill Duke, the film features interviews with several dark-skinned women telling stories of their skin-color related experiences
