Nicki Minaj Heads To The Big Screen
She raps, sings and acts, too.
Nicki Minaj is prepared to show off her acting chops in a new triller alongside Brad Pitt. According to reports, the Young Money rapstress has landed a role in upcoming film The Counselor, which also stars Hollywood A-listers Cameron Diaz, Penélope Cruz, Michael Fassbender and Rosie Perez.

Details about Minaj’s character have yet to be revealed, but the Ridley Scott-directed flick will be a “story following a lawyer (Michael Fassbender) who finds himself in deep waters with the dangerous trade of drug trafficking.”
The “American Idol” judge is known to show her animated, multiple personalities in her music. She’s a graduate of LaGuardia School Of Music & Performing Arts and once called acting her “first love.”
The Counselor is currently in post-production with 20th Century Fox and is scheduled to debut on November 15th.
