Kandi Gets Her Praise On

Yes, the same Kandi who created Bedroom Kandi, and openly talked about her sex life on camera, decided that she should try her hand in producing a gospel record. After all, her father was a preacher, so she felt it would be quite appropriate. She called gospel singer, Marvin Sapp, and asked him for help with the record and he flew to Atlanta to be in the studio with her. Kandi felt that she and Marvin had somewhat of a connection since he lost his wife recently and Kandi lost her boyfriend a couple of years ago. While they were in the studio recording, Kandi’s dad came by to check out the record and got emotional after hearing the song and actually started crying! Kandi’s dad’s tears made everyone in the room tear up for no good reason at all, but it was a special moment, nonetheless.
