Lupe Fiaso’s Anti-Obama Rant
It was no time to say anything jarring about President Obama, especially when He was sworn into office for a second term earlier that day! But that didn’t stop emo-rapper Lupe Fiasco from reciting his politically charged raps at The Hamilton in Washington, D.C.. According to TheHollywoodReporter, Fiasco’s set was cut short at the StartUp RockOn private event.
The event organizers released this statement:
“But Lupe Fiasco was not ‘kicked off stage’ for an ‘anti-Obama rant.’ We are staunch supporters of free speech, and free political speech. This was not about his opinions. Instead, after a bizarrely repetitive, jarring performance that left the crowd vocally dissatisfied, organizers decided to move on to the next act.”
Lil Kim Shoots New Video
We stopped the countdown to Lil’ Kim‘s return a long time ago and just chalked up single “Key To The City” and others as boredom. But the Queen is back. Well not all the way back, but after steering clear of any strategic music moves, the Kimmy Blanco was spotted on set at Tiffany Foxx’s video shoot for her single “Jay-Z.”
Kimmy seems to be making more executive moves now-a-days than artist moves. A check is a check. I guess.
