Judge Bans Cell Phones In Jennifer Hudson’s Family Murder Trial
Jennifer Hudson’s family’s lives were allegedly cut short by William Balfour–who is a former brother-in-law to Hudson. The trial’s been going on for about two weeks now and the media coverage has been scarce. Now, we can expect to hear even less from the court room because Judge Charles Burns has officially banned cell phones from the court toom during Balfour’s trial.

Judge Burns has been allowing limited use of cell phones during the first two weeks of trial so reporters could email news updates. However, some journalists have been abusing their privileges.
