Nicki Minaj Is Trying To Pull A Beyonce With Her New Album: ‘You’ll Never Know When It’s Coming…Until It Comes’

It looks like Nicki Minaj is taking tips from Queen Bey for her next album release.

According to a new interview, the Young Money rapstress plans to drop a surprise album, just like Beyonce’s self-titled project that caused a media frenzy when it dropped without warning or promotion in December.

Nicki told HOT 97 radio’s Angie Martinez that new body of work will come without warning. “The Pink Print is not going to have a release date. You’ll never know when it’s coming until it just comes,” she said.

“You going to go Beyonce on them?” Martinez asked.

“No I’m not… not all the way,” Nicki replied. “Just meaning in terms of a release date, I won’t set a release date until the album is really done and I’ve lived on it for a long time.”

“I’m not going to pull a Bey,” she insisted with a laugh. “But I’m going to chill for a second and see how it goes.”

Nicki proved that she does know a thing or two about shock value yesterday. She pull put her big guns and dropped her new video “Lookin Ass N*gga” like an atomic bomb!
