The judge has made up his mind, and Madonna’s not keeping this baby.
For the past couple months the singer has been trying to adopt a girl named Mercy James from the Mchinji Home of Hope orphanage in Malawi, much to the dismay of those who thought she was doing it not out of benevolence, but for publicity. However, a judge in Malawi ruled that Madge could not adopt the child after all, due to the fact that she hasn’t been a resident of Malawi for at least 18 months.
If anyone remembers Madonna’s adoption of Malawian son David, one would remember that those rules didn’t apply during that adoption. So what’s the deal?
