Stop laughing  – this is not a joke. Michael Jackson, also known as the King of Pop, also known as the guy who’s going bankrupt, also known as the guy very, very recently acquitted of child molestation charges, has decided he’s fit to adopt another child. Mind you, this is also the guy who insists on his own children wearing veils and masks in public. But that’s neither here nor there. Says Daily Express,

The singer, who already has three children, has told associates to make contact with a British adoption agency with links throughout the world.

Two of his children, Prince Michael I, who is aged 12, and daughter Paris, 11, are from a brief marriage to his former dermatology nurse Deborah Rowe.

The third child, Prince Michael II, seven, who is also known as Blanket, was born to an unknown woman.

A source close to Jackson claimed: “His life is his children. Wherever he goes, they go, and he has said it would be good to have another child.

“Contact has been made with an adoption agency in Britain which has a very good reputation.

“It could be that he was inspired by Madonna who adopted a little African boy but nobody really knows what kicked this all off.”

Jackson may also have had a boost to his confidence after the response to his July concert dates at the O2 arena, the former Millennium Dome.

“He senses he is viewed differently here than he is in the States. Before his concerts he has said he wants to spend at least three weeks in Britain, getting used to the time zone and exploring the country,” the source said.

“It is during this period that he wants to have meetings about adoption. He has not said if he wants a boy or a girl, just that it would be good for the family to have another brother or sister.”

Any bid to adopt is bound to trigger a storm of protest because of allegations of child sex abuse against Jackson, 50.

Is it just me, or is something really not-okay with this?

Does Michael’s tour and and adoption request mean he’s cleared up THIS little problem?

He’ll have plenty of room for kids in this new crib…
