I’m hearing that Usher’s new CD “Raymond vs. Raymond” has been pushed back until March 30th because his label refuses to release the disc until he gets new management.
According to the NY Daily News, he and his mom-manager fell out yet again in November over his relationship with current girlfriend Grace Miguel.
“She walked away from the project because Usher had his girlfriend [and former Def Jam executive] Grace Miguel was all in the mix,” says the source. “She felt as though if she didn’t end things when she did, it would permanently affect their personal relationship,” continues the source. Usher had apparently declared that he would manage himself, with the help of Miguel, but the label felt that “there was chaos in the camp.”
I’m thinking Usher’s mama will never like any girl he brings home!

I use to scratch my head a bit with Usher. I never really understood why he like’s older women. But I did she a doc**ent on him a while back. And I realize his mother may be the reason(not in a bad way). Because in the doc**entary it said his mother raised him (along with his grandparents). And she was a single mother .And after his career jumped off she became his manager. Maybe he feels that older women have stronger backbones and maybe he feel that he can rely and have more trust in them. Who really knows why he choose them. However I’m like Usher I prefer an older man basically because of the maturity and straight fwd attitude they have. And I’m pretty much not a Bs’er so I rather be compatible with someone else that isn’t. However I feel that I am more compatible with older men(not all majority though). So I can’t knock him for that!.

A woman can’t raise a boy to be a man! He still has growing up to do. Women have their techniques and issues with men they date, and if they can’t correct these men they date, they try to poison their own boy children with the stupid issues they have with grown men. So his mom most likely raised him like a little punk, and now she’s pissed he’s a punk. Moms never approve of women who use the same techniques to deal with men, that they used on men, but on their own boy children. Chickens coming home to roost, and that’s all.

totally agree with you, with all the women he meets guys he finds security in relationships with those he has close to them and right now that is in the busines field with him. This could be a business thing because just recently the record label turn down Usher offering to manage himself with his girlfriend. I how things work in the music industry so unless she got skill fine but if not forget about it. The label would not have done that without having a board meeting. Certainly his ex-wife was involved in his last album that just tanked. Then one of the other problem could be his mother may have know something was up with the executive dating him. She used to work for a label and already telling him what he need to do. This is a not good conflicting with his manager who of course his mother. Another person can’t just come in and manage an artist and no contract been sign for them to manage the artist with the first one. The music industry is not an easy business to work in but I can see Usher mother is very savvy in her business skill in the throat world of the music industry. If it was somebody else managing him they would have walk away if his girlfriend start trying to take over and there would be a lawsuit too. I don’t care if she was an executive because it does not mean she know anything about hooking up with the right people to work on the same level in a studio with Usher. Usher need to take a break, get his head clear out and forget about being in a serious relationship with any woman. For those who think he cheating on his wife while the ink not dry and she could get more money not so they split up long ago. Too much distraction is not good for business at all especially when a person in the middle of a divorce. Once Usher stay single he need to look back in the past to the present how he got to where he’s at now. Because right now he certainly look like he have not learn his lesson from the past.

When will Usher learn? His mom had issues with Tameka wanting to take control and the last album didn’t do so well. Now this new chick wants to take control cuz she’s some executive and assumes she knows what’s best for Usher! Plz! His last succesful album was Confessions when his mom was his manager…she gave up a lot for Usher including her husband cuz she wanted to focus on making Usher’s career her top priority. He needs to keep his girlfriend relationships out of his music business cuz they ain’t helping him at all…and this is coming from a fan.

Maybe Usher should keep his business, family and personal affairs separate. His mom has helped alot with his career , but it’s obviously becoming a conflict of interest, that is affecting other areas of his life! I also think that it would be a good idea to keep his companions out of his business! He always has this dramas with every woman he deals with and his mama!

I dont know who it was who said dat spanish ppl aren’t black, but Spanish ppl are descendants from African slaves. They’re 1/3 african descent, 1/3 Native American, and 1/3 White Spaniard. If his mom don’t like these girls there has to be some reason. At some point Usher is going to have to decide whats really important. Apparently his mother is probally not gonna feel any chick he brings home. So he might be better off if he gets new management. Thats a very difficult situation to be in when you have to decide between your mom who brought you in the world or your girlfriend. Alot of times your parents want the best for you but only you know what you want for yourself. I’m sure his mom don’t want to see him get hurt again so she plays a very overprotective role because she loves him and wants the best for him. Maybe she knows her son is vulnerable and looks for love in all the wrong places. She also probally wonders are these women around him for the right reasons or the wrong reasons. He’s in a situation where is he listens to her he will find himself all alone. So even though its risky he has to go for what he knows and follow his heart. I mean what good would it do if he lives his life to make his mother happy if he is not happy.

We really need to have more black pride and embracing our own culture. We seem to embrace other ethnicities more quickly and put down our own race in a hurry. Black women are beautiful, strong, loving, tolerant, independent, petite, voluptuous, come in a variety of lovely shades, and are family oriented and have so many other positive characteristics. Build, uplift and encourage one another instead of tearing down. Usher and every other black man can date outside their race all they want…trust and believe they will ALWAYS be black and how does it look when black men put down the black women??
By the way- Everyone is entitled to their opinions without other ppl calling another person a bigot. It’s the USA!
