In the September 2010 issue of Vogue magazine, the “We Are The World” photo shoot aims to unite “people of the globe,” using models Joan Smalls, Jourdan Dunn, and Lais Ribeiro, among others. It was photographed by Steven Meisel for and styled by Edward Enninful.

This is the same issue that Halle Berry is featured on the cover of. She is the first woman of color in over 20 years to do so for the magazine.

    not “hating”, just curious…

#1 where are the BROWN women who make up the majority of the world?
#2 wasup with their wardrobes? (pause)
#3 why do all 4 of them have such similiar features?

    but f**k it, I digress

beautiful clothes…well styled….captures an audience…its not supposed to capture every area. beleive me the world of fashion i fickle. It has cycles. Every 10 years they cycle back to the “ethnic” girls. My daughter models professionally. Shes only 12 but shes almost 6ft and beleive me when they put her in the right clothes and style her she looks 20. Its amazing what photography, clothing and makeup can do BUT then again its not take a typical video hootchie and put her in clothes, etc…she looks good too.
