Beyonce was spotted at Hubbard Street Dance Studio in Chicago rehearsing for the Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular taping. The queen of daytime will end her 25-year run as the reigning champ with a big finale on May 25. Taping for the May 23 and 24 shows took place last night at the United Center in Chicago.
A bevy of stars were spotted in and around the city and studio. According to RadarOnline, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were seen having dinner on Monday night, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett checked into a downtown Chicago hotel and Usher is also in town and there’s word that stars such as Julia Roberts, Jen Aniston, Madonna, Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Halle Berry, Rascal Flatts, Dakota Fanning, Tyler Perry, Dave Chappelle, U2 and John Travolta are all going to be a part of the show too.
Wearing a tuxedo leotard, the singer performed “Run the World (Girls)” with a stage full of backup dancers. Her performance was taped twice to get more angles of the performance to the delight of the crowd.Take a look at Beyonce’s going in hard at the rehearsal:
