I come across good men all the time – everyday of my 46 yrs.  These are strangers that acknowledges me as a Woman/Sistah.  they know how to express themselves with a simple “Hello” or “How are you doing”  to me that’s a good man as far as acknowledgement…You feel me.  I’m not out here trying/praying/hoping/wishing for a relationship with any of them….because I have my KING and my household is like heaven on earth – because of that GOOD BLACK MAN and myself:)

Alright… this was posted on another article, but it’s as true as it is blunt. Why is it on a predominantly Black and minority website are there more pushes for IR dating and marriages than any other? You won’t find it on any white sites, I can tell you that for certain.

Secondly… Let’s give this a thought, you have SEVERAL minorities that come to this country and prosper, WHY? Because they tend to stick to their own, INCLUDING Africans and many of their communities stay prosperous or get the attention from the government that many Black people complain about because they are unified in their approach. What about this article is unifying?

Lastly… for the Black “women” who say that the BW/WM relationships last longer, it’s only because of the Black “women” who are with them either are the dominant ones and therefore the men are submissive just as they complain white women are with Black men, or Black women let white men walk over them as doormats (Garcelle Beauvais, Halle Berry, Regina King… the list goes on). 

Get your mind right… they want little to do with us just as years ago during civil rights movement or long ago during slavery. You are correct…many of these comments from black men come from a place of sheer ignorance and envy. No I meant the women were not tripping.  But I will say it again 6% of black men and less than 3% of black women date outside the race so why so many articles on this topic when we have real programs in the community.  I don’t even see articles about hot black men or women we love.

I think the statistics are slightly off, but I could be wrong. We do have real problems in the community that we need to worry about over this bull. I mean… why is it that we don’t have articles that exemplify our own beauty and desires within our community as opposed to wanting to be with the same people who wouldn’t give us the time of day.

There are black women and black men who are looking for the wrong thing.  I know there are good brothers out there, but I am in an area where the black women in college is 5 to black men and we only have 2% black people here to begin with.  Alot of them are in interacial marriages.  Am I wrong to want someone educated.  The numbers tell me it is more than likely we won’t get one of these black men.

People please apprehend a glimpse of reality. While I will agree that love should have no boundaries of color; we better realize the self hatred that we have sowed into one another. It is prevalent in our relationships. I will give you an example because we have had some bad experiences in prior relationships with the opposite sex of the same ethnic background we are quick to promote white over black. Now keep this is mind that love has no color boundaries. Neither does the good or bad in men and women. If we examine our white counterparts and how they interact in their careers, family life, relationships and etc… We need to maybe apprehend some of the concepts and precepts and apply them towards one another. I believe I have addressed enough for now.

Black men I will also say this and it is not my intention to ruffle any feathers. For decades we have chased white women and exalted them over our black women. We have verbatem singed the praises of white women and verbally assualted our black women. Now in this modern era since women are doing the same thing; we have an issue with it. I know brothers that it may offend you that some white men can just come and wisk our women off their feet. I share your point of view hey they have it all; the world is theirs and we are competing against them for careers, jobs, in the educational system, social status etc.. Here is how we prepare and equip ourselves fellas: 1. Education- excel yourself to obtain the highest education possible. Knowledge is power. 2. Break the syndrome of dependency. Don’t be so quick to move in with a woman, lay up on her, drive her car, eat all her food, and not pay any bills in the home. Come on!!! 3. Gainful employment- establish credibility for yourself, don’t be switching jobs every month, year, or so. Establish a legitimate resume and work history for yourself, preferrably having career interests. 4. Have a vision and a plan in life, I know that circ**stances do arise and alter plans. Trust me. 5. Have the concept of owning your own. This ranges from entrenpenuership, home ownership, bank accounts, etc… Again I believe I have addressed plenty. I can go on and on here. GN Folks.

It’s very interesting to find the BS that is perpetuated between Black Men and Women. 

As a PROUD Black Man, I could see myself with no other than a Strong Black Woman on my arm. Now, I would be lying if I said that I have never found an attractive woman of another background, however I have NEVER and don’t see myself ever finding anyone as beautiful as my Black Queens. It is truly saddening and disheartening to see how easily we are divided against each other. I have little argument for debating against IR dating because I believe we are all human, however when we are constantly discriminated against for the sheer skin hue, it is utterly unfathomable for some to realize that we would do the same. Honestly speaking, most white males find Black Females undesirable as long term material and would more often than not be bedpost notches than anything else (See African IR Dating for Proposals in Internet Cafe, Less than 10% get proposals and more than 90% who do are sent back within 2-3 months).

I am not here to bash anyone because hate and anger just lead to more of both. I love my Black Queens and couldn’t see myself without one because that’s where I came from. There are more educated Black Men who would pursue and marry worthwhile Black Women than those who wouldn’t so obviously there’s some disconnect between the information that is being pushed around. 

*For those that still wish to understand what I was referring to as per Black Females and bedpost notches, look up ghettogaggers.com, blackgirlsgangbang.com, c**bang.com and xvideos.com (look up IR ebony/black women and check out the comments). They may or may not be pornstars in certain videos, however the skin color remains the same either way just as the treatment. 

Lol…. this is truly hilarious. They tried marketing to Black Men and got little response and now they want to go to the women and it’s funny to see how many respond (Over 400 comments)

It’s very interesting to find the BS that is perpetuated between Black Men and Women. 

As a PROUD Black Man, I could see myself with no other than a Strong Black Woman on my arm. Now, I would be lying if I said that I have never found an attractive woman of another background, however I have NEVER and don’t see myself ever finding anyone as beautiful as my Black Queens. Someone once mentioned that BM don’t find Jill Scott attractive when all the Men that I know would put her in the top 5 (She’s definitely top 3 of mine) Black Women in the Industry. 

As per Black “Men” dating others, there are numerous examples brought up, but the examples that are often moved to the side are the ones illustrating Black “Women” who are dating and married to white males (i.e. Garcelle Beauvais whose husband cheated on her for over half the marriage, Roger Ebert’s wife, Robert DiNero’s wife and Halle Berry whose husband showed his true colors when it was over).

I’ve never been one to wish death on anyone, however I’ll be the first to say I wish Kim Kardashian was dead, buried and out of everyone’s mind. She has no intellect, no personality and from the looks of it, little to no sexual talent. 

Oprah is cool, Jill Scott is GORGEOUS and I would definitely talk to her if given the opportunity, but Naomi (while being married to and f**king several different other white men while being called everything under the sun then complaining about being referenced in an add about Chocolate, which I find to be a very delicious and sexy complexion for my sisters) is not someone I would waste my time with. 

I don’t know what “hold” you say that BM have over BW, but there are more BW that are interracially dating and marrying than BM are and the statistics are there to prove it. This being the case, it would seem asinine to even compare BM to the hypocrisy of these so called commentators. 

I love my Black Queens to my dying day and I have a feeling that love would probably be one of the causes of my death, however I still will love them as I am from them just as I would love to show my love to my daughter (if I were to have one anytime in my life). It is despicable to see the gullibility of many women who don’t see the division of Black Love on this site ESPECIALLY on HB.

It is likely that you haven’t met any Black Men because you speak out of hurt and pain. 

I, and others like myself, would RATHER drool, date and marry Black Women of all shades and personalities, however with mindsets such as yours, it makes it increasingly difficult, however I’ve found other Black Queens without such hindering mindsets as yours and I’m grateful for it. 

*Sidenote: You might want to get your facts straight on Black Men starting it three decades ago… Slavery happened over 400 years ago and was a prime factor for the division of the Black Household that allowed Black Females to becomes the mistresses (happy and deluded ones at that) of the slave masters. If you want to look up the history… you’ll find that Black Females and white males have been at this a lot longer than Black Men ever have. 

I really am sorry to hear about your troubles in relationships, however I have known the same to happen the other way around so please understand that this is not a one way problem. 
I am not here to discount anyone’s reality or perspective because you cannot speak for anyone’s experience, however I must say that as a Black Man, your specific accounting, I cannot account for in my behavior or in anyone that I know. 
I’m not sure how far north you are, but if you happen to make your way to Chicago, let me know… might be able to get a drink and meet some people I know. 

Actually, your assumption on shortages of men is actually inaccurate. 
Women outnumber Men 4-1 on this planet so even in the case that EVERY man had one woman, it would still be unfair. White women outnumber white males, Asian women outnumber asian males and so on and so forth, but yet they don’t have articles that continuously place such an emphasis on dating outside of their culture/race/ethnicity. You ever wonder why that is?

Sorry to hear about your personal perspective, I just hope that you don’t find out too harshly that “baby is right” is wrong. Do what you do and I’ll wish the best for you, but more often than not I hear it going very wrong and then pride is a pain trying to swallow it when you realize that a*****es and bigots come in all colors. 

Your logic is faulty and you’ll find that your perspective will not be seen in any other networks containing majority white. Why is that? Because simply put… you’re oppressed. 

I don’t care what you refuse to be and/or don’t want to live as, but while you view the world in one perspective, the world views you in another as illustrated by numerous responses to you as well as the way many may see you walking down the street and quite possibly even in your “pale, white mid-western boyfriend’s” family. 

I have very little that I could really say to you that would likely alter your perception because from the sounds of it, someone could be discriminating against you, viewing you as less than them so on and so forth and you wouldn’t even notice it. A quote from Harriet Tubman crosses my mind… “I could’ve freed more had they known they actually were slaves”.

It’s funny how you use “… but they are overlooked based on something as shallow as race” and yet don’t realize they do the same thing to Black Men and Women on a daily basis so your argument is as null and void as your mindset. 

As far as the traits you use (affluent, intelligent and attractive), two of the three are just as shallow as race. Most of the reason why Black Men may not be affluent is because they are coming from a situation that may mirror what some would call poverty and is hard to shake off ESPECIALLY in this economy when unemployment for the Black Community is, historically and statistically proven to be, twice that of white unemployment. It has been shown in surveys and studies that a white ex-con can get a job easier than a Black law abiding citizen. As far as attractive… beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but if you are to talk about someone’s attractiveness, you should be willing to put yours out there as well. Physical beauty can change just like weight and is only skin deep (just as race), so because you may cast aside your shallowness on one particular area does not give you the right to use it in others. 

Dating outside your race does not increase your odds of getting married because the simple fact that marriage in itself is declining. Women outnumber men on this planet and therefore some are going to inevitably going to be left out. 

One fact that I have come across that stays true no matter where I have gone, as a Black Woman, Black Queen, they have had no shortage of Black Men who have had the qualities of a husband coming at them. It is only Black girls that I find complain about finding Men because more often than not they turn Men down for boys. 

I did and very hard I might add, I just didn’t post on there because I didn’t want to give them the commentary to keep posting BS like that. The only reason that I am posting on this one is because there is already an abundance of media driven BS that is continuously pumped out in this article and out of the “mouths”/hands of so called Black women on here. 

I know more Black Men on this website looking for Black Women because it’s a BLACK WEBSITE, but yet I see more Black Women who complain about what they find when they’re using tactics that would net them the very things they are catching. 

I would love to see some more articles on Black Love and Community oriented solutions that would positively affect us, however as we can plainly see about this particular topic, it is posted and reposted to get more hits and cause more divisive tactics amongst the very same consumers that frequent this site. 
In any case, I just hope that there’s some realization within the community that we need more unity. 

Anyone who tells you to get off their case when dating various other women, and complain that you are dating non-black is hypocritical. What’s there to worry about, if YOU like them? Do your thang!

ok…I don’t see the world in one perspective at all..I understand that there are people who discriminate . what i should have said was that all white people can not be placed into one catigory. i can say that i am opressed in a way that i live in a country that working 12 hrs a week on 7.25 is sometimes the best you can get or where a company can see your race on a card and say that you didn’t pay your mortgage for 4 months and force you into bankruptcy and refinance. but i dont see myself being sub-par held back or distressed by any white person around me PERSONALLY…that is all i mean. To say that it is wrong or strange to date someone of another race is foolish. that is all i meant with my comments and opinions.

As for the people walking down the street or in my job or at the place that i hang out they can see me as whatever they please. I have been slapped in the face. I have been told to leave someplace. I have been taunted and called shaniqua when going to a party with a white friend. i have had rocks thrown at me when i was a kid blah blah blah but that did not make me hate white people.  I dont hate poeple i don’t know. My body and mind belongs to me and no one else i wake up with myself to think about.

And my boyfriends parents…I hope they dont see me in a negative way because of my skin color, I have been with him a year and a half and i go to all the family gatherings.

and look I would love to say that i want a strong black man to be by my side but it didn’t happen that way i fell in love with a white man and he loves me. And if we brake up and i am with a black man i will still feel the same way about people loving other people.

Just because i love a white man doesn’t mean i am oblivious to racial discrimination. And it also does not mean that i do not see the beauty in black relationships. I am the product of black man and a black woman. and i happen to love myself.

As far as Chinese and their population dynamics, yeah, I agree with you that they outnumber the entire world, however decreasing the disparity between men and women would essentially be a good thing as it would sure up the ratio and thereby making it possible for some to believe that they can actually “find a man” in certain respects. 
Personally though, all the Black Queens that I know usually don’t have trouble meeting or dating Black Men/Kings they would consider long term candidates.
