I like the show and I don’t understand T.I.’s point of view. This show actually made me like Tiny more, I saw that she was more than some has been following T.I. around. These are real woman who value family and love. You see how devoted Tiny is to her mother and father and T.I., you see how good of a mother Toya is and her overcoming adversity and trying to bring her whole family up while she finds herself. I think it’s a really good healthy show unlike that chicken head crap Keyshia Cole had going on… now that was a bad look!

Hmm…I’ve come across the show a few times and I didn’t think that they were portrayed in a negative way. I was actually quite surprised and glad that their show isn’t like others where the girls are fighting, chasing after guys, cussing and putting each other down. I saw the last episode or the one before that where Tiny started a nail shop and Toya’s contemplating writing a book. Good for them and anyone else who’s stepping out like that! That’s inspiring.

Remember in the first season when Tiny wanted to go out & TI called her cell phone going off and asking was there guys around and she just sat there looked stupid & went home? …I’ve only seen a couple of the show’s episodes and was very moved by the storyline of Tiny’s father suffering from Alzheimer’s and how she is coping with it. This disease is one of the cruelest because it is like the longest good-bye and there are days when your parent recognizes you or other loved ones and you cherish those moments, but you also realize that it will be soon that they forget who you are.

I never was interested in watching the show until my co-worker told me how much he enjoyed watching it because Tiny and Toya didn’t come across as the typical vapid, drama-seeking denizens that we often see on t.v.(esp. as portrayed by black women); so while I only watched two episodes, I am a little disappointed that the show may be cancelled.

I think T.I. is more concerned about the show interrupting his life now that he is out of jail.

When i first heard about the show i was like I aint gana watch this ish.. But after I watched it the first time i liked it. I really identified with both of the ladies. Toya with trying to move on and establishing her own identity after a divorce, and Tiny for dealing with her fathers Alzhiemers.I dont think this portrays neither of them wrong. It is a good show to see because it is showing both of them being strong black women. Or just strong women in general. And it is good to see that considering that most of the women these young girls look up to these day are models and vide-hoes. To me after watching the episodes, I often times think that Tiny, even though she is independent woman, is a little timid and scared when it comes to T.I. and shows little or no backbone. Now she is a grown woman and shouldn’t allow no man to control her like that. If she let’s him do this, it only shows how weak she truly is, or that she is scared to lose him. If a man truly cares for you, he would care about what you want as well. T.I to me does not want people to see what really goes on while he is home, so that why he is shutting things down, he is an control freak and wants all of Tiny’s attention to go to him and the children. I remember in one of the Episodes where she was talking to the relationship Dr, she mentioned that there was one time that Her and T.I almost parted ways simply because she was on the road and focused on her singing career, To me that really serious. I am old enough to be both of their parents but I was pleased to see the grounding and maturity that both of these young ladies show. I love the realness of the show and the different day to day issues that they are dealing with. I hope the show continues. When men try to put their women “on lock” and control every aspect of their lives, the insecurity lies with the man. Its true that when you have a family you have to strike a balance between home and career but take a little advice from some old school and never let someone box you in to the point were you are not aloud to bring your God given gifts and talents to the table.

I don’t know what he saw in the show that was bad because the reality shows on tv now are just terrible, nasty, trashy, and i think there show is very possible to a certain level. Well if this is true i guess it will soon be the Toya Carter show, because i know she’s not giving up her spot because T.I. has spoken …..But hey, like i said this may not even be true.

From what I read on this post, a lot of people see these girls as “ghetto”. Like I mentioned before, I only saw a few episodes of the show , but it seems that these women are trying to rise above obstacles that were placed in their way years before. It seems that they are trying to establish themselves in their own rite (at least, with Toya) or are continuing to move in a positive direction.

I don’t see these women engaging in behavior that you see most blacks on these reality shows; they are not falling over, stupid-drunk or high (Frankie), not sleeping around (“I Love NY”), not engaging in back-biting and fighting (Real Housewives of the ATL) or anything else that I consider to be low-level. To me, those types of actions are “ghetto”, and can describe many people who put on airs of class and sophistication, but are nothing but street-urchin. I myself know a few people who are kind of like this: while they need some fine-tuning and their communication skills are not the best, they still have a moral compass, are driven to do better and are family focused. Just because you are from the hood doesn’t mean you are of the hood.

TI is just wrong on all levels, I watch every episode of Tiny and Toya and both of those ladies handle themselves in a respectable way. Everybody have issues, and these two ladies show the world how they both could overcome the obstacle of living with and being played by two of the top rap music mogul industry w***es. Just agreeing to do the show was a battle for Tiny in the beginning because TI didn’t want her to do it.
