Ciara Wants To Follow In J.Lo’s Footsteps

‘Ride’ singer Ciara has revealed she would love to follow in Jennifer Lopez’s footsteps and release her own perfume line.

The ‘Ride’ singer is a huge fan of singer-and-actress Jennifer Lopez – who has created 10 of her own fragrances – and would love to emulate her success in other industries.

“I don’t have many style icons, but someone I do love is Jennifer Lopez, she always looks great, she’s amazing.

“I would love to have my own fragrance like she does, I want to do everything. I want to be one of those entrepreneur-type people who does a bit of everything.”

The 24-year-old beauty also revealed her key to staying slim is to eat little and often – though she is willing to work hard in the gym if necessary.

“I eat six to eat small meals a day, I have a meal planner but I’m not afraid to have a piece of candy or something if I want it.

“My shape is down to good genes, but if I need to prepare for a show or something then I get in the gym for an hour every day for five days.”

    ciara is a better dancer. but i heard she cannot sing live. they shut the music off and she didn’t sound all that great…also she better step her acting game up..J-lo is an a-list actress. Just stating the facts. she could possibly do it. but then i thought she was trying to be the next aliyah at first …hmmm…oh well do ya thang

    Ciara is simply saying that she wants to emulate a Business Model that is similar to the one employed by J.Lo.

    Quite frankly, while it is true that J.Lo IS indeed a singer, actress, dancer and entrepeneur, the only thing that she does really well is dance. She epitomizes mediocrity in all other art genres. She uses the exact same facial gestures to express pain, sorrow, joy and bewilderment in each and every movie. She is extremely limited in her acting range. We all know that her capabilities as a singer are amplified in the studio: live she is nothing more than mere fluff.

    J.Lo, and the business experts that she surrounds herself with, are very proficient in BRANDING J.Lo, and that is where I give her most of her credit. Because she has successfully marketed herself, she has been able to expound on her original debut into the world of entertainment, selling fashion and perfume under the auspices of her well-known brand. She also was very successful in exploiting her relationship with Diddy to catapult her career to a national level. Because there were very few Hispanic entertainers at that time, she got 100% support from the Hispanic community in her every endeavor. The black community also gave her unconditional love and support. While she is not truly talented, she IS INDEED A SAVVY BUSINESS WOMAN, and for that I give her much credit.

    If Ciara wants to follow a similar road to diverse success in multiple media and entertainment platforms, she needs to surround herself with business, marketing, public relations and financial professionals. She can do it with focus and dogged determination.
