PHOTOS: First Look At Beyonce’s “Deréon” Bedding Line

We first announced Beyonce’s foray into home furnishings here: Bey’s “Deréon” Brand To Produce Home Decor

And we weren’t sure to expect. After all, we know Miss Tina loves to bedazzle anything and everything, and sprinkle glitter and gold whenever she can. So we weren’t sure how well that would translate into bedding.

But, surprisingly, the final product is low-key, if not average.

The House of Deréon addresses the master bedroom, while the more print-oriented Deréon line targets a younger customer, age 15 to 30. Both collections are being presented to major department and specialty stores with retail prices ranging from $149.99 to $199.99 for House of Deréon and $49.99 to $99.99 for Deréon.

    Blegh! My boudoir is my sanctuary so in turn I either go soft and warm with egyptian cotton and when I feel like a vixen I go ‘Sin In Linen’ as I like the Paris Bordello look. I wouldn’t want to sleep OR make love in those sheets from Dereon. Next!

    When I 1st clicked on this article, I was expecting to see the wannna be “fleur de lis” printed all over the bedding. I must say I was quiet shocked at how sleek, beautiful, and non-Dereon they look.

    (I hate any item that has the designers’ signature written all over. Dispite the song ” I Look Like Money”…I really don’t like to Look Like Money. I know what designer I have on and a person with good taste can tell what someone else has on without it being posted all over the chest. Yuk!)

    I will def check out the line and ‘maybe’ buy my 1st Dereon item. Considering “retail prices ranging from $149.99 to $199.99 for House of Deréon and $49.99 to $99.99 for Deréon”….the Dereon in more within my current budget, if not that bad in cost. However, considering how this economy had been going, I’m sure I will find it Burlington for half that price. Word to the wise…Burlington has some nice designer finds (they should pay me for that)…Toodles!
