“Second Generation Wayans” actress Tatyani Ali chooses Michelle Obama becoming the first lady of the United States as her most influential Black History moment of the 21st century.

When Michelle Obama first met Barack Obama, those many years ago, we wonder if she knew that she was staring into the eyes of the future first black president. And if she realized that one day, she would be regarded as one of the most fabulous First Lady’s to grace the white house since Jackie O. Michelle Obama and her husband assumed office in January 2009 after a hard-run campaign that lasted close to a year. Since accepting her role, she’s made it her priority to fight obesity, enlisting Beyonce to serve in her “Let’s Move” program. She continues to serve the homeless, remains an advocate for LGBT rights and provides a shining example for young black women!
