Terry Glover, Managing Editor of EBONY, Dies At 57
Terry Glover, managing editor of EBONY Magazine, lost her battle with colon cancer on Christmas Eve December 24, 2012. A representative for the historic black publication has confirmed the news.
“Terry touched many with her warm spirit and glowing smile during her six years with Johnson Publishing,” said Linda Johnson Rice, Chairman of the Johnson Publishing Company, about Glover’s passing. “Her contributions to EBONY were innumerable and her passion shone through in everything she did. Terry will be greatly missed.”
Terry Glover joined Ebony in 2006 as the senior editor for the website and then was appointed as the managing editor in 2009. According to the Washington Post, Terry had been battling cancer for the past two years. She was 57.
