On August 17th the world will finally get to see Whitney Houston in her last on-screen performance as the doting mother Emma in Sparkle. Days after her untimely death on February 11th  fans already began speculating on who could play the Grammy Award winning singer and actress in a biopic of her life.

“Whitney had such a strength, she was one in a million,” said Jordin. “She had the humility, the it factor, the sense of humor, but still made you love her…”
