How tall is T.I.? The rapper stands 5 feet, 9 inches tall—or so he claims on the song “Motivation.” “Five foot 9 with the soul of a 6’4” n—a,” T.I. raps on the track, and if that measurement is correct, XXL had it wrong in a 2007 story on the Atlanta rapper. “On the evening after Christmas, T.I.’s petite, 5’6” frame stands tall as the top-selling rap artist of 2006—his fourth album, King, having moved 1.7 million copies,” reads a line in that magazine piece.

Maybe T.I. has done some growing. Since 2007, Clifford Joseph Harris has done some jail time—11 months, most notably, following a September 2010 arrest for violating his parole and possessing a controlled substance—and now that he’s out, he’s focusing on getting his career back on track. T.I.’s 5-foot, 9-inch frame means he’s the same height as Kanye West, though he’s shorter than Jay-Z and Drake (both 6 feet, 2 inches), Snoop Dogg (6 feet, 4 inches, give or take), and Waka Flocka Flame (an impressive 6 feet, 7 inches). At least he’s taller than Lil Wayne, who stands a mere 5 feet, 5.5 inches, according to most estimates.
