Tina Knowles represented for fly mamas everywhere when she accepted Beyoncé‘s awards on her daughter’s behalf at the BET Awards.
Soon after the acceptance speech, fans started speculating that Beyoncé was absent after her opening performance not because she was on a plane — but because she just didn’t want to stay.
Tina cleared up the rumors on Instagram, however, explaining she made a mistake about her daughter’s hectic schedule, stating she’s “tired of other people writing (Beyoncé’s) story.”
