NeNe Leakes is again questioning whether she needs to return for another season of drama on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

The “RHOA” queen bee reconsiders her commitment to the show after every season. It’s a familiar tune for fans of the show, and she played it again during a recent chat with Meredith Vieira.

Nene’s just not sure she’s got what it takes to withstand another round of cattiness with the rest of the cast.

“I am at a point where I don’t know how much longer I can stay in this situation,” NeNe admitted. “In the beginning when it started, I was having fun. I would have to say now I am not having as much fun.”

After six seasons on “RHOA,” Nene is the last original cast member standing. It’s been very noticeable, however, that she has been distancing herself from her co-stars in the off season. It’s been a lot easier for her to get some time away from the rest of the girls as she picked up gigs in Las Vegas and Broadway.

Once she returns to Atlanta, it doesn’t take long for her to clash with certain cast members. When the show began, Nene touted herself as being “the realest” peach in Bravo’s basket as her big personality dominated pretty much any scene she was in. As she Nene continues to raise her profile, though, she’s found herself wanting a few do-overs.

“I feel like anybody, whether you’re a good person or not, if somebody pushes you up against the wall, you do have a breaking point,” Nene said, explaining that she often feels like producers put her and the rest of the “RHOA” cast in high-pressure situations meant to create conflict. “There are times when you will say and do things that you wish you hadn’t said and done.”

It’s great content for the show, but Nene doesn’t like the potential risk it poses to her reputation.

“You don’t want to be seen that way. There are times when I do go home and wish I wasn’t seen that way because I am not that person every day,” she describes. “And so I do feel bad about certain things that happen on the show.”

Nene didn’t specifically name which things those might be, but she’s got plenty of moments to choose from!
