It looks like Apollo Nida isn’t the only “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star in trouble with the federal government. According to reports, former housewife Sheree Whitfield is in deep tax trouble… we’re talking more than $100,000 in debt!
Sources say the IRS filed a lien against the reality star on Dec 12, 2013, claiming she failed to pay her taxes in 2011. According to legal documents, she failed to pay a total of $111,226.58 and the feds are still waiting on their money.
As Radar Online points out, this isn’t the first time Whitfield has been in hot water with Uncle Sam. “She was reportedly slapped with another tax lien in early 2013 which accused her of owing a total of $41,752.83 for unpaid taxes for the years 2009 and 2010,” the site reports. “Last year, news also surfaced that Whitfield — whose conflict with her ex-husband, former Atlanta Falcons football player Bob Whitfield, was a storyline on RHOA – had been ordered by a judge to give her divorce lawyers $119,000 for an unpaid legal bill.”
Rumors have been swirling about Sheree returning to “RHOA,” and it looks like she needs those Bravo checks now more than ever!

10 On-Screen Friendships We Wish We Were A Part Of
1. What About Your Friends?
Have you ever watched your favorite movie or show and secretly wished you were in the same circle of the characters on your screen? We've been there! Here's an ode to some of our favorite on-screen girlfriends who remind us just how powerful sisterhood can be through all life's ups and downs.
2. Gina & Pam; "Martin"
Gina & Pam were true BFFs and had each other's back like no other. Whether they were arguing with their crazy neighbor, Sheneneh, dealing with Martin's antics or auditioning to perform with Biggie Smalls, they stuck together through thick and thin! They worked together, laughed together, partied together and even fought together! Nothing could come between these two, not even Martin's endless jokes about Pam.
3. Max, Khadijah, Synclaire, Regine; "Living Single"
Who wasn't obsessed with the ladies of "Living Single?" They had the coolest jobs in the city and lived in a chic Brooklyn brownstone and had two cute single guys for neighbors. The four, 20-something, independent, single (somewhat) women were the blueprint for how New York living should be and shared a bond that everyone wanted!
4. Charlotte, Carrie, and Miranda, Samantha; "Sex and the City"
The ladies of "Sex and the City" also made NY look fly! They were chic, fabulous, witty and classy and every girl, no matter what age, wanted to be just like them. The friends each came from different walks of life but somehow meshed so well together and formed an admirable bond! Whether your personality identifies with one or all, the friendship between these four is one for the books!
5. Toni, Joan, Lynn, Maya; "Girlfriends"
SATC was great, but "Girlfriends" showed us that Black women can be just as smart, sophisticated, career oriented, classy, fashionable and funny. This LA quartet gave us a positive representation of Black women of different backgrounds while showing us the true value of friendship. Through relationship, work and family drama kept us tuned in every week as we laughed, cried and sympathized with their lives.
6. Cher, Dionne and Tai; "Clueless"
Cher and Dionne may have been "Clueless" but they were super cute, fashionable and fun! Perhaps the most stylish clique of all, this duo was unafraid to take risks whether it be in fashion, with boys, learning to drive or befriending the new girl (Tai). Although they had their share of disagreements (like the time when Tai coldly called Cher a "virgin who can't drive" -- way harsh!) their bond remained strong!
7. Melanie, Kelly and Tasha; "The Game"
Sure the ladies of "The Game" were friends (go Sunbeams!) but when you added their guys Derwin, Jason and Malik to the mix these six cast members showed us the incredible balance of sharing love, marriage, family and career with your closest friends. This crew went through it all and with Tasha Mack keeping them all in line, they managed to stick together! After all, we all need a little Tasha in our lives!
8. Kim, Moesha and Niecy; "Moesha"
Moesha and her two sidekicks, Niecy and Kim, were a trio unlike any other. The boy crazy threesome did everything together and were rarely apart. Although they had their ups and downs, they still managed to remain the best of friends. Who didn't want to have a group of best friends as loyal, smart, funny and popular as these three?
9. Kim & Stevie, Nikki & Andelle; "The Parkers"
After Kim said bye to Moesha and Niecy, she ventured off to college with her mom, Nikki Parker and new besties Stevie and T on "The Parkers". This show was full of friendships, as Kim, Stevie and T caused havoc on campus while Nikki and her BFF Andelle were busy trying to keep up with their young counterparts. This group of best friends gave us laughter, love and most importantly the signature greeting "HEEEEY!"
10. Harper, Jordan, Lance, Julian, Quentin, Mia, Shelby; "The Best Man"
Sure, this college crew had a lot of disturbing secrets between them that played out over two movies but one thing that never changed was their love for each other. Even when Shelby was being her usual self, the crew couldn't help but to love her, and all of her ways. This dynamic clique is the epitome of what a strong relationship entails: love, family, success, a bit of drama and most importantly friendship.
11. Tia & Tamera
Tia and Tamera made us wish we had an identical twin sister built in as a friend! On "Sister Sister", we watched the duo grow from teen girls to sophisticated women, who were experiencing the same things we did: the high school drama, the first kiss and the epic moment of going away to college; we learned exactly what to expect all while watching these two!
