tiffany booneTiffany Boone is a star in the making! The Maryland native has the smarts, looks and the acting chops to take Hollywood by storm. And, she’s not off to a bad start either. Movie fans will catch the future “it girl” on screen with none other than Viola Davis herself, in the upcoming “Beautiful Creatures,” a film already being pegged as the next “Twilight.”

Ms. Boone has much to teach about goal setting and the power of believing in yourself. When Viola Davis won her SAG Award, Tiffany proclaimed, to herself, that she would one day be working with “The Help” actress. Shortly after that, preparation met opportunity when the actress was called in for an audition and booked the part of Samantha Snow in “Beautiful Creatures.”

HelloBeautiful: Tell us about “Beautiful Creatures.”

Tiffany Boone: “Beautiful Creatures” is based on the bestselling supernatural love story that follows a teenager named Ethan, whose world is turned upside down when he falls in love with the new girl, Lena, who has special powers. The story follows them as they struggle to be together despite mounting challenges trying to keep them apart.

HelloBeautiful: You play Savannah Snow. Who is she and how does she fit into the story?

Tiffany Boone: Savannah Snow is a member of the group of popular girls in school and is the best friend of Emily Asher, Ethan’s ex-girlfriend. She is part of the campaign to make Lena’s life in Gatlin unbearable.

HelloBeautiful: Okay, a mean girl. We get it. That should be interesting. How was it working with the fabulous Viola Davis? I interviewed her on your movie set in N’awlins this summer and she was lovely.

Tiffany Boone: Working with Viola Davis was literally a dream come true. I set a goal for myself to work with her before I knew she was attached to “Beautiful Creatures.” Three weeks after I made that goal, I found out I would be working with her on this film. It validated for me how powerful it is to simply set an objective for yourself and believe you can achieve it.

HelloBeautiful: What’s the biggest thing you learned from Viola?

Tiffany Boone: I didn’t spend a lot of time with Viola but in the short time I was around her she reinforced for me how important it is to stay humble and grounded. She clearly hasn’t allowed her success to change her calming, generous and kind spirit.

HelloBeautiful: Wonderful. Who are your Hollywood role models?

Tiffany Boone: Other than Viola, my Hollywood role models include Jeffrey Wright and Meryl Streep.

HelloBeautiful: Mr. Wright and Ms. Streep and thespians in the truest sense and great mentors for you. How can your fans connect with you online?

Tiffany Boone: Fans can follow my tumblr page at www.tiffanyboone.tumblr.com to check out some of my previous work, see what I’m working on, and get “Beautiful Creatures” updates. They can also follow me on twitter and pinterest @tiffboone or on instagram @tiffmonet.

HelloBeautiful: And when can we see “Beautiful Creatures?

Tiffany Boone: It opens countrywide Feb 13, 2013.
