Whitney Paid Ransom For Bobby
Whitney Houston apparently paid a $400,000 ransom to kidnappers who were threatening to kill her ex-hubby Bobby Brown over a drug debt.
The sensational allegations are in an autobiography written by former gang member David Collins, who claims Bobby was snatched and then held, bound and gagged, at gunpoint by members of a New York street gang known as the Preacher Crew.
What was Whitney on at this year’s Grammy Awards.
The alleged event took place in April 1993 – at the peak of Whitney’s fame but the kidnapping was never reported to the police, and representatives for both Whitney and Bobby have refused to discuss the claims.
