Idris Elba, Taraji P. Henson & Laurence Fishburne Nominated For Emmy Awards
Congratulations are in order for Idris Elba, Taraji P. Henson and Laurence Fishburne who were just nominated for 2011 Emmy Awards.
The three actors received nods during the nominations telecast this morning.
Taraji is nominated for Best Actress in a Mini-Series or TV movie for “Taken from Me: The Tiffany Rubin Story,” while Idris Elba and Laurence Fishburne are both nominated for Best Actor in a Miniseries; Elba for his BBC America drama, “Luther,” and Fishburne for “Thurgood,” the HBO film about civil rights icon Thurgood Marshall. Veteran actor Andre Braugher is also up for Supporting Actor In A Drama Series for “Men of a Certain Age.”
The Emmy Awards are scheduled to air September 18th on Fox.
