Nelly and Ashanti’s Peacock Reality Show Gets Summer Premiere

Get ready for a summer of love! Spin-the-block-success-story Nelly and Ashanti are set to entertain fans this summer, courtesy of their previously announced reality show documenting their rekindled relationship.
Sharing its programming slate for the remainder of the year into early 2026, Peacock revealed that Nelly & Ashanti: We Belong Together, will drop in June—however, the streaming platform stopped short of confirming an official premiere date.
Consisting of eight 40-minute episodes, We Belong Together is set to document the music couple’s lives as newlyweds and new parents to son, Kareem Kenkaide Haynes.
“Nelly & Ashanti: We Belong Together follows the electrifying journey of this beloved couple as they reignite their love, navigate the ups and downs of newlywed life and the challenges of parenthood while juggling their thriving careers,” the official series synopsis reads. “Can this unstoppable duo prove that their love truly can conquer all? A fun-filled exploration of love’s second chances.”
The couple also serve as the show’s executive producers. A trailer is also expected to drop soon. News of the reality series initially surfaced in January, when it was announced that the couple was in the process of filming and that Peacock had ordered the series as an addition to its 2025 unscripted programming schedule, per Deadline.
With an on-again/off-again relationship that dates back decades to the heights of their respective careers, Nelly and Ashanti made a winning case for rekindling romance with an ex.

After seeing each other during a Verzuz battle after years and sharing an embrace on stage that instantly went viral, rumors that the couple had restarted their relationship began to swirl—and the gossip proved to be accurate.
A baby announcement followed, as did the reveal that Nelly and Ashanti also secretly married just before she gave birth to the couple’s first child.
In a March interview, Nelly explained why decided to speed up the marriage process before their son was born.
“When I went to Verzuz, I had somebody with me,” Nelly said while speaking with Bootleg Kev of Real 92.3 LA. “We didn’t even talk. I just went over, got a hug…break the ice…We didn’t talk for another almost 8-9 months to a year. We didn’t have a conversation.”
“Once we found out that she was pregnant, I was just like yeah…We hadn’t talked about any of that yet,” he continued. “But I was like, ‘Yo, you know what. Let’s just knock this out because we’re gonna be doing so much, and everything’s moving so fast.’ And I didn’t want her to be a baby mama.”
