FLAT IRON HAIR
Use the Heat Protectant before you blow dry your hair, the process will seal the product into your hair cuticles and prepare it for the flat iron process. Ray Christopher used a 1″ flat iron, my personal suggestion is a Sedu Pro 1″ Styling Flat Iron ($140.00, amazon.com). This has an automatic off button, which is a necessity for someone like me, who can be a little sleepy minded early in the morning. It also has ionic technology which allows moisture to stay locked in your tresses. Christopher suggests lifting the hair at the root to provide more volume. He also shared the importance of a haircut in a look like this, “a simple cut can help to create the layers necessary to proceed with simple curls using the flat iron.”
