Beyonce’s ‘Daddy Lessons’ Reportedly Rejected By Grammy Country Committee

Beyonce flooded the Country Music Awards this year with bitter, white tears when she performed her country track ‘Daddy Lessons’ with the Dixie Chicks.

Now the petty continues, with the Recording Academy’s Country Music committee reportedly rejecting ‘Daddy Lessons,’ for a Grammy nod in the ‘best country song’ and ‘country solo performance,’ according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Although Beyonce didn’t miss a beat—landing 9 Grammy nominations for her groundbreaking visual album across genres for ‘Lemonade,’ it’s still frustrating to know there are still barriers even the greatest performer on the planet right now has to break through.
