Whoopi Goldberg aims to take the stigma out of medical marijuana treatment by creating a weed company that specializes in alleviating menstrual cramps, Vanity Fair reports.

‘The View’ co-host will partner with acclaimed “canna-businesswoman” Maya Elisabeth for the venture.

“For me, I feel like if you don’t want to get high high, this is a product specifically just to get rid of discomfort,” she told the site. “Smoking a joint is fine, but most people can’t smoke a joint and go to work.”

“This, you can put it in your purse,” Goldberg continues. “You can put the rub on your lower stomach and lower back at work, and then when you get home you can get in the tub for a soak or make tea, and it allows you to continue to work throughout the day.”

The 60-year-old actress decided to get into the cannabis business after seeing the benefits of her own vaporizer.

“I started using the vape pen because I stopped smoking cigarettes about four years ago and discovered I couldn’t smoke a joint anymore,” she says. “The relief that I got with the vape pen was kind of different from what I got with smoking. I could control it much better.”

After feeling the profound effects THC had on her headaches, Whoopi reached out to industry experts to discover other opportunities to expand its use.

Having watched her granddaughters suffer from menstrual cramps, she decided this would be her new passion project. The company will offer a range of cannabis products including edibles, topical rubs and bath soak.

Unfortunately, beauties, due to the federal ban on the substance, it will only be available in California. Sigh.
